For you...

This is my favorite creation for the day, inspired by the sketch at Less is more challenge Week 117. So here's, my card.

To make this I used some masking to create this portrait of sunrise with my Memento Dew drop dye inks. The sail boat is hand drawn :)

The sketch at LIM that inspired me is -

Hope u enjoy my card :)

You rule my heart...

This card is a result of inspiration from two different challenges, the theme is inspired by Crazy for CAS challenge #17 - KING'S DAY and the layout is inspired by CAS on Sunday challenge #7 - SKETCH IT ! this week.

Making this was easy, all elements are hand cut the kings dress and the crown, colors are inspired by the flag and glitter is added to make it look royal :)

Hope u enjoy my card :)

Ok, u win...

This is a quick post inspired by CAS(E) this sketch challenge #25 this week. The elements of the sketch have been expressed as the angry birds

All the elements from angry birds to the grass are hand drawn and cut. Making this was the easiest. And Yes, I did change the orientation of the sketch :)

Wishing you SUNSHINE......

"Wishing you SUNSHINE" card, is an inspiration from The Friday Mashup #107 - IT'S A SUN SHINY DAY, what a beautiful image picked by Amanda to start my day.

Another challenge that inspired me was the  Case Study challenge #138 from JJ . Another masterpiece :) I aspire to create like JJ and so many great artists one day ... I was inspired by the sky in her card and then thought about what do I see in the sky, so came the birds and finally the sentiment in JJ's Card made me create the sunrise scene. so, here's my card.

To make this card I used my Memento Dew drop dye inks and sponge to color along with masking tape and some negative and positive dies :)

The honest truth...

This is a quick card inspired by Casology #41 challenge - GIGGLE. I have already made one entry for this challenge but couldn't help creating this one. I am sure it'll make u giggle as much as I did ;)

The idea... is not mine, thanks to my husband who gave me this idea while I was showing him my recent creations. I just couldn't stop laughing to this fact. the man and the woman are hand drawn and the heart upside and inverted ;) is a sticker from my stash :)

Hope this card makes u laugh :)

Thanks...

My "Thanks" card is inspired by the Addicted to CAS #11 - FLOWER and Moxie Fab World - WONDER OF WATER COLOR ChallengeSo, I decided to make the flower that inspires me the most and that is rose. Here's my card...

To make this card, I hand drew the rose and leaves, then I used water colors to paint it with a brush. I enjoyed making this :) I then stuck this focal piece on the card stock and added the Thanks sentiment by tying an American Crafts jute twine.

Hope you enjoy my card :)

Key to my heart...

This card is inspired by the sketch from Crazy for CAS Challenge #16. As I always do, this time too I have tried to link the elements of the sketch together. So, the heart and the key hit me :) and I created this :)

Here is the image of how I made the key -

To make this card, I used my Nestabilities heart die to cut the heart from red card stock. I then punched the hole using my paper punch and cut the ends to give it the look of a key hole. I then hand drew and cut the key with my scissors n knife. I added glitter to the key. then stuck the element on polka dots card base using foam dots :) Finally I printed my sentiment on a white card stock and stuck it on :) the card is complete, so easy.

I am also linking it to this week's Simon Say's Stamp challenge - ANYTHING GOES

Hope you enjoy my card :)

So, let's party...

My "So, let's party" card is inspired by the Casology #41 - GIGGLE :) I found this one liner while browsing through Google. I mean, I enjoy these cool one liners, so I often read them and save them :) and now I am gonna use one of them in my card :) yay!!!

WTF!!! yeah it means Well That's Fantastic. What were u thinking ;)
Anyway, to make this card, I created this calender using create a table option in MS-Word. I made a table of  7 columns and 6 rows, entered the dates and days and printed it on my card stock. I increased the font size of the letters W,T & F :) Rest I cut out the calender, created a border around using my sharpie markers.
This border is an inspiration from Ardyth's Card :) There is something about her cards that keep me addicted and inspired, I have always loved her geometry n simplicity of the cards and have tried to adopt from her in this one  :)

Hope you enjoy my card :)

Just a note...

"Just a note" is a card inspired by the Annabel Stamps blog Challenge AC161 and also by The Paper Player's challenge #142 - One layer card, so I used the sketch on a one layer card. The moment I saw the sketch, it kept me thinking that how can I combine the two elements together and here I go.... I got the idea of a bird and the rising sun :)

To create this card, I used a flying bird clip art from Microsoft word, printed by placing it at the right place in my word doc. Next I drew a quarter of a circle using my compass. I then created a mask from scrap paper for rest of the card except for the sun. I colored the sun with my Memento Dew drop dye inks using a sponge dauber to give it an ombre effect, just like the sun :) I colored the bird black using my sharpie marker to give it an effect of seeing a bird from far away flying in front of the sun :) Finally added the sentiment and doodled the stitches border around the card.

You are my favorite...

Guess what, I am crafting today in the night ;) my husband is out for a conference. He is having fun and I thought, I should not deprive myself of fun either ;) So I chose to make some cards :) LOL
That's my favorite fun activity ;) So my inspiration for this card was Runway inspired challenge, what a lovely gown :) and here's my card.

This was one of the easiest cards :) coz I used these chipboard tags which were lying in my stash, sorry I can't remember the name of the company :( So all I did was, to use my alphabet stencil to write the sentiment "you" and then used my American Crafts Premium jute twine to hang the tags and added a heart sticker to the tag that said favorite :) . I stuck foam dots on the back of each tag to ensure its firm position and then stuck the white card stock over black card base and that's it I am done :)

Baby card...

This is quick post for a card that I made a few day's ago for a friend on her Baby Shower :) I am glad she loved all my gifts besides my handmade card for her :) I wish her a healthy baby, I am so excited for her :)

So this card as is obvious show onesies hanging n drying in the sun, which surely would be a task for her :) I hand drew and cut the shape of onesies on pattern paper, made some grass n sky in the background and added run on flower stickers and finally stuck all the elements together :)

Hope you enjoy my card :)

Happy mother's day...

MUSE.... was my inspiration for today :) What a beautiful card by Virginia Lu. I feel so good to be a part of MUSE and also the world of blogs where in I can see so much creativity.

So to create this card, I used the negative space of my Sizzix circle dies. In that negative space, I stamped images of flowers from my Garden collection stamps bought from a local craft store. I colored them with my sharpie markers. Added sentiment, doodled the border and attached the card with the background using foam dots :) and there we are ...

Have a colorful birthday...

This is second card for today and looks like stripes is the theme for today ;) the sketch of this bright n colorful card is inspired by this week's Seize the birthday challenge #14, the theme by CAS-ual Friday's - Birthday Bash and colors by Case Study #137  and yes, a very Happy Birthday to Michele Gross hope ur bithday is as colorful as my card :)

All I did was... drew the parallel lines as per the sketch and colored each strip with my memento dew drop dye inks using my dauber and a masking tape. The focal point was made using nestabilities oval die and was stamped with gifts from Anita's Inque Boutique. It's was then colored with my color markers. I hand cut the stars n colored them with the ink. Finally, I added the sentiment n stitch like pattern as border with my pen.

DAD and MOM...

I have created these cards with an inspiration from CASology challenge - WORD and also Moxie Fab World - The wonder of water color challenge. I created these cards for my Mom and Dad :)  I miss them so badly....

To create this card, basically the alphabets, I used my stencils to draw the letter on the card stock and cut them using my craft scissors. I made two things to represent "A" in the word DAD, one was mustache which I hand drew n colored and the another was eye glass stand which was again hand drawn n cut and yes my Dad has it with him ;) To represent the "O" in the word MOM, I hand drew, colored n cut knitting yarn & needles :) To make the card more attractive I made the backgrounds using my water colors and finally stuck the alphabets using foam dots :)

One soul, two bodies...

Well, well, well.... finally I made the right card for Less is More challenge - FILM this week. Well according to the challenge we had to have an inspiration from a Film/ Movie and the card has to be a One layer card. So, had a long list of movies from Titanic to Harry Potter where I could have made a ship or a wand respectively but it was not really clicking me.
So, here's my card... a different movie as inspiration. Any guesses???

To make this card, ooooooo it was the easiest. If u have used Microsoft word, there is something called as clip art in it. So I went into clip art and added my image of the lovely dancers on a word document keeping in mind the right placement & size of the image. I then printed this on the white card stock. Then cut the card stock into the standard card size. Finally added swooshes on water colors to create the background. Since, my printer ink was a little lighter, I used my sharpie marker to brighten my focal image and added the sentiment.

I am sure by now u guessed it... yeah my inspiration is from the movie "DIRTY DANCING". Dirty Dancing is a 1987 American romance film. Written by Eleanor Bergstein and directed by Emile Ardolino, the film features Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey in the lead roles.

Hope you enjoy my card :)

We are all about family...

My this card is in continuation of the use of Memento inks which I have recently purchased and have fallen in love with ;) This card is inspired by this week's CAS on Sunday challenge # 6 - USE CIRCLES.
I am also, playing this card for this week's Just us Girl's challenge #184  - Technique OMBRE and for this I would like to thank NANCY as she was the one to suggest me :) I am so glad.

To make this card, I inked up the bubble wrap in Memento - Cottage Ivy and Pear tray inks and created this fun background with lots of circles and also the ombre effect ;). I then used my Inkadinkado - Fun Maple leaf mini stamp that had circles in it. Also, I colored the maple leaf using water colors. Finally I stamped the sentiment from - Tids Bits Collection - Family and added a jute twine to the card. It was fun using stamps which I normally don't use. They definitely make card making easy :)

Hope u enjoy my card :)

Thinking of you

Today's cards are dedicated to my recent purchase of Memento Dew drop inks ;)
So I created this card using my inks and stamps and my inspiration was this week's CAS colors & Sketches challenge Sketch #20. Though I rotated the sketch to create my card.

To make the card, I cut three strips from white card stock and stamped it with Inkadinkado clear stamps - An affair of the heart collection using Memento - lady bug ink. I added fun star stickers from Darice to accentuate the card further n finally added the sentiment.

Congratulations...

My "Congratulations" card, is inspired by the Color challenge at Annabelle Stamps blog and CAS-ual Friday's challenge - All that Glitters. The colors Licorice and white kept me thinking about things that are black and white in color and then the occasion of wedding hit me... the black tux of the groom and beautiful white gown of the bride. Finally, a touch up of glitter for this occasion made my idea complete.

To make this card, I had the perfect stencils in my collection. So I used, Wedding day Paper stencils by Crafty expressions to make the bride n the groom. colored them using my Black Sharpie marker and gave a little shading to brides dress using my charcoal pencil. the glitter strips were made using Recollections signature extra fine - Charcoal Glitter and stuck on the card. Finally sentiment was added.
This card will go to my Sister-in-law, who is soon going to get married :), hope she likes it
