Inspired by Stamping

I created CAS card with something I consider as a luxury. Here's my card...
I am sure you will agree with me as car being a luxury :) Car has made our lives so convinient, the luxury that car provides often goes unoticed. I am a big fan of cute little Beetle and this stamp pretty much appears like one. So I grabbed it to showcase the sentiment your're special/ unique. I stamped the card is various shades of pink creating an ombre and one of them was heat embossed in gold. I also stamped a few hearts and the sentiment. I am sharing this card with Simon Says Wednesday challenge - Anything Goes! and Keep it Simple #47 - Ombre

Our DT has come up with some amazing projects this week. Pop over to our ATCAS challenge blog here and take a peek. I am looking forward to the challenge this fortnight and am very excited to visit your blogs.

Have fun in creating CAS card :) and thank you for visiting my blog.

Fusion #18

Hello friends!! time for another Fusion :) I hope you enjoyed playing along with our previous challenge. Our new challenge is very unique, there is a lot of potential for inspiration from the words or may be the vintage look :) Now let's see what will you make this time ;) So here's the Fusion inspiration n sketch for you...
FUSION is a very interesting, it gives us a photo and a sketch, so possibilities are endless with the freedom given in the challenge. You can just work with the sketch or just photo, in my case I went with the photo inspiration only. I was so inspired by the vintage door that  I went with the same look on my card. So here's my card...
To make this card, I cut out a panel of 3"x2", scored it to create a window like appearance. Next I dressed it up by some distress inks, stamping with flourish and hexagonal stencil water stamping. I also added the die cut letters and stamped the words faith and love. To add to the vintage look, I distressed the edges. Next I added a twine and some wood veneer stars to finish my card. I also added a brick embossed card base to match the photo inspiration :) This fits perfectly to the theme, thanks to my dear friend who send this to me as gift :). I am linking this up to the following challenges Less is More Week 186 - Sketch  and CASology Week 110 - LETTER

There is a lot more inspiration available for you by our lovely team. Go and check out :) Also, for more details about the challenge please visit Fusion Card Challenge

Just for fun!!

Hi friends! I am back to share a card I made just for fun. Even though I have plenty of DT stuff lined up but still I ended up making a card using a new stamp set I got as a surprise gift :)
I stamped the lower floral bloom first, masked it and stamped the jar. I masked the jar and stamped the upper floral bloom. Next I masked that too and stamped the jar all across the card base. I did a second generation stamping for this. Then I colored the jar with color pencils, stamped the ribbon and cut out a banner sentiment :) I am linking this at the Runway Inspired challenge #66 - Sportmax, The Challenge #13 - I was inspired by the sketch and at The Papercrafting challenges #17 - Sequins.

Thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment :) Will be back real soon with more cards

Christmas candles...

Hi ! Today I am sharing a Christmas card :) STAMPlorations has these New September release Christmas Stamp sets, they are amazing and so much fun to use :) I couldn't resist making yet another card :) So here it is...
I marked the lower edge of the card dividing it into 1cm parallel lines. Next I cut out a strip from black cardstock and adhered it over these marked lines. I added another horizontal strip of kraft card stock. On a blank card stock, I heat embossed these beautiful Christmas Candles in silver and fuzzy cut that out. On the upper half of the card I heat embossed some snowflakes in gold and also added some gold dots using a gel pen. Finally, I popped up the candles with foam dots and stamped the sentiment.

Thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment :)

NOTE : The STAMPlotrations is doing a pre-release sale of the September Christmas stamps (5 sets) until September 5. The bundle is $25 (29% off) and Stamp club subscribers get an additional 15% off

Hi friends! Its time for a new sketch challenge at STAMPlorations, Bi-weekly Sketch Challenge #18. This challenge ends on August 29th and the winners would be announced on August 31st. We have a very talented Guest Designer Carol joining us for this challenge. She makes awesome cards and has an amazing style of writing. She is sweet to read ur entire post and make the sweetest comments ever :) Welcome Carol! You can check out more of her creations at her blog Just Me :c
Let's get to the sketch and my card... Actually two cards, I wanted to try the same concept in different colors so I ended up making two cards :)

To make this card, I stamped the dots from Vignette - Retro Mod shapes beginning from center and moving outwards to the edges. I then created several layers in different ink by stamping dots by overlapping  them. To create this pattern I was inspired by Donna Mikasa's card for CASE Study Anniversary Week #2. Next to match up the sketch, I heat embossed the sentiment from Subway Art sentiment builder - Dare on vellum. Also heat embossed a few more dots. Next, I added the twine and vellum and sequins to finish my card. I am entering this card to a few challenges - Simply Create too #68 - MonochromaticCAS-ual Friday's #134 - Tic-tac-toe (Dots, white and sequins)

Next I adhered this heart with the twine and some sequins on the card base. To finish the card, I stamped the sentiment. I am sharing this card with Color Q #254 and Keep it Simple #46 - Arrows

I have one more card to share, I created this for a family friend's baby shower. They are having a boy, so I kept the colors blue and grey. I was inspired by the Sketch at the Sunday Stamps challenge #82 and since its a baby card I am entering this at the Paper Crafting challenges #16 - Baby
This was an easy card to make, I first stamped the stripes, masked them and stamped the Congratulations wood block stamp I won at a giveaway from Lisa's blog :) Inside the circle of sentiment, I stamped the baby feet.
