Coffee Lovers Bloghop!!

Hello!! and a very Happy National Coffee Day :) Yay! that's right it is the day dedicated to all the coffee lovers and Chaitali of Cuts, Crops & Creativity is organizing this fun blog hop :) loaded with prizes.
CoffeeLoversBloghopLogo
I guess most of us love coffee. Though in India in my family tea is more popular... I was somehow inclined towards coffee. Actually I Love it!!
To add fun to the hop there are a few coffee related questions that we have to answer ...
1. When did you start drinking coffee?? Don't really remember but I was probably in my early teens
2. What is your favorite brand (you can name up to three) Starbucks and Nescafe

3. What is the most amazing coffee that you had? Remember where and when? The best coffee that I had was a filter coffee served in a restaurant in Southern India on a holiday trip with my family. I can still smell it :)
4.  If I don't drink my needed coffee, I will... do everything to drink it anyways LOL

And now let me show you what I made. So here's my card :)
To make it I masked the card to create a vertical panel using a stencil to make those coffee cup stains. Added some strips and a washi tape. Stamped the sentiment. Since, I don't have sentiment on coffee, I added "a Latte" to you make me smile sentiment. I am linking my card to CAS on Sunday #43 - Lift a Card, Inskspirational #66 - Beverages/ Drinks and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes!

CAS-ual Friday's Stamps September Release - Day 6

Hello friends! Today is the final day of September release at CAS-ual Friday's and I hope you enjoyed my creations as much as I did making them.  Today we are showcasing the Co-ordinating Fri Dies called "Hanukkah" for the Stamp set "8 Happy Nights" and you will love these dies!!
So here's are my cards... I ended up creating two cards, one showcases my love for distress inks and another showcase stamping and fun design :)
To make this card, I die cut the stars. I decided to use the 3rd largest star in the set of 5. First I inked the panel with Distress inks starting with the darkest shade of blue on the edge and working my way in with the lightest. Did some water splatter. Next I laid the stars such that 3 stars made a hexagon. This was done in random fashion. Finally I heat embossed the sentiment from Hanukkah set. Hope you like it. I am linking this up at Word Art Wednesday #150 - Anything Goes!, Stories of Stamp and Paper #8 - Die cut

My second card is pure stamping delight. I so enjoyed making this one too :)

To make this card, I stamped the sentiment in rainbow colors. Also die cut the driedel, stamped and colored it. Next I cut out a circle on card base and adhered the driedel with foam dot creating Hanukkah star :) I am sharing this with Crazy for CAS #53 and NBUS #2. I am sorry Darnell if I have entered too many cards but I coudn't help but sharing it all LOL

So here's my card...
I rarely, use patterned paper, this is something that I need to work on. I am usually experiencing a hard time using them. So, I decided to use patterned paper for this card. To make this card, I die cut the bells from Echo Park Getaway paper pad. Then I stamped the bells over it. Next I fuzzy cut the extra edge showing beyond the stamped image. I also did some paper piecing. Then I cut out the leaves from the patterned paper of the same pad using Stalk Up Fri-dies. Next I tied the bells with twine. Adhered all the elements on the card base . I hope you liked it!! I am sharing this at Virginia's View #7 - Patterned PaperA Blog Named Hero #52 - Patterned Paper and Time Out challenges - Double the joy!  TOC are running this surprise extra challenge for Bev who recently became mom to twins Josh and Ben.
