Let me show you the cards I created using the newest Dies...
This die is simply gorgeous, you an use it as is and pair it with inking or patterned paper. I decided to water color this one :) The die used is Shapeabilities Love Grows Etched Dies
I die cut this from watercolor card stock and water colored this using Gansai Tambi water colors . I the die cut a black fun foam for adding dimension and layered it on patterned paper [Amy Tangerine Plus one] I also added a few floral sequins to accent. Here is a closeup...

Next I made a set of cards, I used Die D-Lites Sun Face Etched Dies. I wanted to make a red hot sun so I decided to use alcohol inks [Adirondack Sunshine Yellow and Red pepper] and I inked the whole panel. Once dry, I die cut the sun and decided to pair it with blue patterned paper [Spellbinders Sunshiny Day] . I wanted to use the negative die cut too to I made two cards from one panel.
In  the negative space, I made a blue sun bursts by cutting patterned paper into triangular shapes. Also I added a white circle behind the sun face to add a touch of softness :)For sentiments I used stickers from the Spellbinders October Card Kit.

Lastly, I went with traditional inked background for this fabulous die Shapeabilities Sweet Letters Etched Dies I die cut this using black card stock and black fun foam for dimension.

I used a combination of Distress inks to ink the back panel. sprinkled some water and adhered the die cut on top. For sentiment I used sticker alphabets I had in stock. To accent it further I used Wink of Stella Glitter pen to glamorize the die cut :)

I hope you enjoyed my creations. Don't forget to hop along :) your next stop in the hop is the talented Tina Smith's Blog

Spellbinders - December Large Die of the Month kit

Hello friends! I am super excited to be playing with some new goodies from Spellbinders. I am showcasing their newest December Large Die of the Month Kit

This Kit comes with dies that will make for a fabulous Gate fold card, not only that you can mix dies to create a variety of designs. I have created a set of three cards to showcase three different styles you can achieve using the dies included in the kit. I kept the color scheme and theme the same :)

For my first one I made the sentiment die cut as my focal by cutting out a window through corrugated paper and accented the design by adding a patterned paper scalloped edge at the bottom edge.
Here is another look..

For my second card, I used one of the layering die cut to make the lower corrugated edge and accented groove with flowers and leaves cut from card stock and patterned papers.

For my final design, I created the Gate fold card, following the color scheme.
This is how the card look from top view in a folded position. It is so much fun to open and then close it. The Gate fold is pretty cool especially with that gorgeous intricate sentiment.

These are all the dies included in the kit. You can always combine these with your stamps or any other dies to make a variety of thank you cards for all occasions :)
Large Die of the Month Membership
I had so much fun making these... that I have a few more gate folds cut out. I will be sharing a few more designs later :)

I hope you enjoyed my creations, you can find this kit HERE. Thank you Spellbinders for sharing these goodies with me

Spellbinders - Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month Club Kit

Hello friends! Did you hear Spellbinders have the added a new Club Kit of the month "Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month" This month's Christmas Village Vignette Frame Die Set is perfect for making holiday themed cards, scrapbook pages, and more.

I am so happy to share some of the projects I made using this kit. The dies are awesome and cut beautifully. I also love the little dies included to build an entire scene. For my cards, I made two sets one with traditional Christmas colors and another with more muted/ soft tones :) I had so much fun and this definitely added to my Holiday card making collection :)

Let me show what I created...
For this set, I cut out card base to match the frames :) I went with red and cream shades of card stock to cut all the layers. To add some more interest, I added a layer of patterned paper in similar color tones :)

Here is a closeup and a closeup into each card...

I was so fascinated by these dies that I decided to create one more set :)
Now my second of cards... I followed the same process of layering, only here I layered them on a card base. I like these muted tones... kind of reminds me of snow :)

A lots of layering and interchanged colors for the two designs :) Here are a few more clicks...

I had fun creating, hope you like these :)
This is the kit I used and you can find all the details about it HERE.

I made a fun one layer card incorporating lovely fall colors :) The stamps I used are Pumpkin Kisses Stamp Set and Bountiful Thanks Stamp Set and I accented it with the leaf die from Spellbinders October Card kit of the month.

To make this card, I took a fog card stock. I stamped the pumpkins and flowers in the inks that I wanted to color those in. I stamped the sentiment in brown ink. I stamped all the other foliage. I then colored the flowers and pumpkins in Prismacolor pencils. I die cut some of the leaves in rust color card stock and accented the card with those.
Here is a closeup...
I so love the font of that sentiment :)

SPELLBINDERS - Zenspired Holidays by Joanne Fink

Hello friends! I am back with the newest Spellbinders - Zenspired Holidays by Joanne Fink collection. These stamps and die sets are just gorgeous. You can color those intricacies or leave them as is... they will look gorgeous anyway! Today I am showcasing two sets from Joanne Fink collection the Holly Bells Stamp and Die Set and Christmas Joy Stamp and Die Set

Let me show you the cards, I created...
These jingle bells are so beautiful, I had to make them the focal image of my card. So to make them shine, I simply stamped and colored them and adhered them with some dimension on a Distress inked panel with a splatter of pearl white :)
No Christmas card making complete without the traditional colors. So for my second card. I stamped colored and die cut the Holly and the bells and layered them on corrugated paper and patterned paper. Corrugated paper is from Spellbinders too :)

Here are the next set of cards using the other set... I went over the board and made four cards :)
For this one I stamped and pencils colored the Christmas tree. I inked the panel in Distress inks, masking the lower edge with torn masking paper to create the illusion of snow and did some splatter for snowfall :) To finish I adhered the die cut tree on top of the panel.

Those of you who know me, know that I have lately been addicted to grey. So here's another grey card with a pop of reddish pink. For this one I stamped the image with white ink on grey card stock. I die cut it and scored the base panel. I colored the image, layered it on die cut fun foam piece and adhered it back . To finish I added white splatter.

And now back to traditional colors. Stamped die cut and colored the image and layered it on patterned paper :)

With all the reds and pinks in my collection, I decided to bring is some blue. I stamped and selectively colored the image, die cut it. Next I adhered a patterned paper of card base and layered a oval die cut panel on top. to finish I added the tree and the sentiment :)
I had so much fun creating these :)

These are the products, I used  Holly Bells Stamp and Die Set and Christmas Joy Stamp and Die Set  along with some patterned papers and Spellbinders classic Ovals die set. All the coloring was done using Prismacolor pencils :)
